Golf in Lanzarote
Lanzarote is a stunning holiday destination; incredible scenery, an excellent climate, year round sunshine and the whole island is a UNESCO World Heritage site. Golf in Lanzarote started in 1978 with Costa Teguise Golf, located at the foot of a dormant volcano and an oasis amongst the breathtaking dark volcanic landscape for which Lanzarote is renowned.
Costa Teguise Golf has now been joined by Lanzarote Golf, this 18 hole, par 72 course offers views of the Island's famous volcanic landscape and majestic views of the Atlantic and provides both a golfing challenge and a wonderful chance to experience Lanzarote's unique countryside.
Due to Lanzarote's small size and the prximity fo the two main courses golfers are probably best served by staying in the Los Pocillos area of Puerto del Carmen which allows for an easy joureny to both courses, a shot airport transfer and a chance to be close to the excellent beach.
