For dining, the Hotel Duques de Medinaceli's restaurant is situated in the old dining room of the palace and overlooks the botanical garden. Here you can savour a starter of "Bellota" Iberian ham and a number of main courses with delicious local ingredients.

The town itself is located 10 km north-east of Cadiz across the bay of Cadiz and there is a famous ferry El Vaporcito which will bring you across the bay.
